My husband has had these shorts for about a year. He loves the slits in the side and velcro. However, I've had to patch seams six times. SIX TIMES!! And it's not because he splits them squatting. The fabric becomes frayed at the seam, not ripped.I would buy these again, but only cuz I'm a cheapskate. I would only recommend these if you have a sewing machine and are prepared to use it.
